I have had a great year this year and a awesome hoilday so far I am going to taupo in a few days to see my aunty it is going to be fun and I can't wait till new years,I can't wait to get back to school and do some more work with my new teacher!!!!

My Seminar

Today i did my seminar,I think I did very well but I was nervous at first but over all I was good I think everyone enjoyed the wrestling moves I taught them out on the field and all loved watching the movies I made of my brothers wrestling.I can't wait till next year seminars!!!.This is my keynote title page for my seminar.

Science at Pukekohe High School

On Monday 15th of November the year 8's went over to Pukekohe High School for a introduction to science so we would be ready when we start there in 2011. The program included learning how to do scientific drawings of all the equipment and they learnt how to light a bunsen burner and they also did some really cool experiments such as lighting magnesium and a few others. In there booklet we still have some more work to do before the start of term 1 but all in all the science lesson was really useful.

Seminars

This is the time we've all working been waiting for all this week room 23 are going to be presenting seminars it is going to be awesome to see what career year 8's want to do and what year 7's love to do. My seminar is on wrestling i can't wait to see what other people are doing there seminar on and how they present it on the computer,and how they make it interactive i am doing my seminar on Wednesday 24th November.

TVNZ 6 NETGUIDE MULTIMEDIA CHALLENGE

As you know we have just recently attended a ceremony at TVNZ 6 studios for a TVNZ 6 NETGUIDE MULTIMEDIA CHALLENGE. We placed 3rd best in are category. The ceremony was held at TVNZ studios in Auckland City by Jeremy and Julia who host the show in between on Sundays at 6:30. There was a guest appearance by Anne Tolly the minster of education who gave a speech on how well we had done to make it to The prize giving. We worked over a period of 4 weeks and you can look at are website at www.wix.com/moepap/are-you-being-ripped-off. It is based on the rugby world cup and how to save money when going to the rugby world cup.

The sponsors where amazing with the prizes there were board games, computers, TV’s and stereo and some awesome goodie bags. we received a stereo, $100 voucher for stationary and a Bill Brysons book. We also received some autographs from Outrageous fortune star Anthony Starr. We over all had an amazing time and are eagerer to play with some of the amazing gadgets. We couldn’t of done it without are teacher Mrs Pearson who supported us and helped with editing and she received $100 voucher for Resene Paint.

It's that time again school athletics for the last week we have been doing school athletics it is so fun to get out in the sun and train up to go to zone.It is so cool it be out in the sun with my friends doing what I love.My favorite is relays and long jump they are so cool.We are now deciding if we want to be in competitive or social

TVNZ Net Guide

Earlier this year room 23, the digital classroom entered a multimedia webdeisgn competition. This is an annual competition that is hosted by TVNZ 6.The class made their website on wix webbly and webs.com. They focused their websites on finical literacy, which was the term 2 Inquiry topic. Madeleine Erica and I focused our website on how to budget at the rugby world cup 2011. We recently found out that they are Finalists in the Intermediate team section. We will be attending a prize giving at TVNZ 6 studios on Friday the 12th of November were they will await there results either 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Net guide, Toshiba, Adobe and TVNZ 6, sponsors the competition. With some amazing prizes up for grabs.
